IObit’s Advanced SystemCare utilizes a streamlined interface which is simple and straightforward to use. There are several tools available within the software, but they are effectively organized and housed in a well-designed package. The user interface is easy to manage, and maintains simple navigation.

Advanced users will be able to perform scans and adjust settings as needed. But Advanced SystemCare also offers a set-and-forget solution. After setup, users can let Advanced SystemCare run automatically and unobtrusively in the background. You can even schedule scans and maintenance to happen at specific times, or just let the software work when the PC is idle.

Feature Set:  

Advanced SystemCare Pro host a variety of features to help keep your system running at its best. The registry repair tools included are used to completely locate and fix registry errors. The “Deep Scan” technology effectively finds all sorts of registry errors, including corrupt, invalid, duplicate, and potentially dangerous files.

Advanced SystemCare includes the technology to completely defragment and compact the entire registry. The program helps clean out useless rubbish and optimize your system for faster computing, quicker downloads, and a better internet experience. In fact, Advanced SystemCare is intended to be set for a specific purpose (home use, business, gaming, entertainment), and will help users keep their computer in the best shape for what they do. Advanced SystemCare PRO even includes a ‘quiet’ gamer mode, specifically designed to not interfere with gamers who need optimum performance during a frag-fest.

The software is not limited to registry repair and optimization. Advanced SystemCare Pro is designed to help you easily enhance your entire PC, from the registry, to the startup menu, to hard drive and disks, all the way to internet use.

Ease of Installation:  

Installation and setup of Advanced SystemCare is simple and straightforward. We had the software installed and performing scans on our test computer in no time. The initial scans are surprisingly quick, and the software can then be set to perform routine maintenance when necessary. The complete defragmenting process did take a while (especially on our already taxed test computer), but that is to be expected. SystemCare Pro will let you set a level of fragmentation (3, 5, 10%) that triggers an automatic defrag process.

IObit does offer a free trial version of Advanced SystemCare, so you can install it and see how it works. But for all the advanced features and functions above general PC care, we recommend you upgrade to the paid (and low priced) PRO edition.

Help/Support:  

Getting help from IObit with Advanced SystemCare is possible, but not overly impressive. The online support center includes email support, and even online chat (though we were never able to actually connect). We found the FAQ section to be pretty weak, but the community forum was decent enough.

Unfortunately, the internal help is slim, and pretty much limited to redirecting you to the inadequate online help. Don’t get us wrong, the help was decent, it just wasn’t enough. Luckily, the program is simple and intuitive to use, and shouldn’t require much additional help.

Safety:  

Advanced SystemCare PRO includes several features specifically designed to help keep your computer safe and secure. SystemCare scans and removes adware and spyware, and will continue to defend your computer from online predators and hijackers, with consistent updates to virus definitions.

Advanced SystemCare also incorporates features to help keep your information private. It will help you detect and remove tracking cookies and other useless files collected online, as well as other PC activity history.

But you also don’t have to worry about deleting important files that you actually need. Before any actions are taken, Advanced SystemCare PRO creates a backup file. The backup state can easily be restored, which is great in the event of an emergency, or simply an unforeseen problem.

Advanced SystemCare PRO is not an end-point computer security solution, but is intended to compliment your antivirus software or other internet security program. The software works in conjunction with these other security programs, and does not interfere.
